Student Spotlight: Brad Burke

Landing an internship at an impressive marketing firm is no easy feat, but DM student Brad Burke did just that. This fall Brad interned at Fathom SEO, a search engine marketing company in Independence, Ohio. Fathom boosts search engine performance for websites, making them easier to find and stand out among the competition. As the web and video intern at Fathom, Brad has worked on the home page of corporatescreening.com and has done a redesign for a golf website.

Brad says he owes the internship and his experience to VMCAD and to DM Department Head Geof Pelaia. “I was unsure of what I wanted to do for a living for a very long time until I found a home here at VMCAD. If you have a dream for doing something don’t give into hardships. The teachers and faculty here care about your dreams, and bring you one step closer to making them a reality.”
