Fashion Design

Becoming a great designer means learning from the best. Gaining the ability to see top designs and to understand how they were constructed will prepare students to make their own design decisions.  The Fashion Design Archives feature a collection of over 500 pieces of designer clothing dating back from the late nineteenth century to today. Unlike a museum where students can only look at the clothing from a distance, VMCAD students are able to handle these garments from the inside out. This allows design students to learn high-end couture techniques used by the world’s best designers.

Women’s Wear Daily magazine covers breaking news in the high-end fashion industry, a must have for all aspiring designers.
