International Students
Before an international student may be considered for acceptance into the Virginia Marti College of Art and Design, they must submit the following:

  • Transcripts of grades from school last completed and/or currently attending, translated into English
  • Copy of Birth Certificate
  • Proof of income/financial status (Affidavit of Financial Responsibility Form)
  • Proof of proficiency in the English language

  • Application for Admission into VMCAD
  • Application fee of $200.00, American currency (non-refundable)
  • Registration fee of $300.00, American currency (refunded if student is not accepted)
  • Student must attend Full Time, if accepted (be sure to specify "full-time" on the application)
  • Doctor’s letter of good health

After the college has received all of the above, the Office of Admissions will then issue the legal form to be completed by both the applicant and the proper authorities in the applicant’s country. This is the I-20 form.
